The Views Around Amsterdam

Throwback to October 2018 and a long weekend in Amsterdam. Having never visited the Netherlands before Amsterdam was high on my bucket list of city breaks with its picturesque buildings and canals. It's an ideal city to visit where you can get around all of the sights available by foot which is the best way to take in the views.

On our first day in this city we joined onto a free walking tour which gave us an overview of the history of the city and walked us around all the major sights which gave us a fantastic grip on our bearings of the area.

A Weekend in Edinburgh

Back at the beginning of October I had a quick trip up to Edinburgh for a couple of days to visit a good friend. This would be the furthest inland I had been to Scotland and I planned to make the most of the trip.

The plan was to catch up and have cocktails. It was the Edinburgh Cocktail Festival the weekend I was up, meaning that if you had a wristband you could get a different discount cocktail at each bar.

My Happy Place

This weekend just gone on the sunniest day of the year so far I visited my happy place which is Barmouth.

I have so many memories relating to holidays in Barmouth with family and trips there with friends. It is by far one of my favourite places with nostalgia everywhere I look.

I thought I would share with you some of my favourite traditions and things about Barmouth.
