Nice Le Banthai Restaurant

Friday 25 November 2016

While in Nice we visited a few restaurants and found some firm favourites for food. One of these was Le Banthai in the Old Town.

As you can probably guess the food they had on offer was Thai food. We had walked past this restaurant a couple of times and the aromas wafting out of the door were mouthwatering.

They had an array of food choices on the menu and I opted for Khao Pad with Chicken which is basically just chicken fried rice.
Then they had a starter of the day which was a tad more expensive at 12 euros for 8 spring rolls, me and my friend decided to opt for this and split the price.

The food was wonderful and just the right amount to leave you feeling pleasantly full. This was probably one of the nicest meals we had all holiday.

We were given free water (not a big thing in England but when you have had to pay for water most of the holiday this was) and it was blue. Genuinely blue from the jasmine flower they said.

The restaurant was quite small and very popular! So to make sure you get a table you had to either get there just as it opens or book one in advance. If you're going to Nice and want some restaurant recommendations you should definitely visit Le Banthai.

Good food, good service and a good evening.

Thanks for Reading!
